The delegation of the national youth men's and women's kickboxing teams left Amman on Wednesday, heading to the Italian city of Jesolo, to take part in the 2026 World Kickboxing Championship, in one of the federation's most prominent international appearances.

The participation carries special significance, as it represents the largest in the federation's history in terms of the number of athletes taking part in the World Championship, with 27 male and female athletes participating, a clear indicator of the sport's growing base, the development of national team preparation programs, and the federation's commitment to strengthening Jordan's presence in international competitions.
The delegation is headed by federation president Abdullah Abu Rumman, who made a point of following the teams' final preparations and checking on the readiness of the athletes, affirming the importance of this participation and what it represents in terms of national responsibility and a genuine opportunity to represent Jordan honorably on the world stage.
The administrative delegation includes Abtan Al-Awaisheh, while technical supervision and coaching are handled by Mohammad Farhan, Murad Al-Jarajreh, Odai Al-Maharmeh, and Rawan Al-Hifnawi, alongside physiotherapist Yasser Khairallah.
Jordanian officiating will be represented at this world event through deputy chairman of the referees' committee, international referee Emad Al-Jabour, alongside national referee Tala Al-Rifai, reflecting the growing presence of Jordanian expertise across various areas of the sport, and confirming the development taking place within the federation's officiating system.
The Jordan Kickboxing Federation affirmed that participation in the World Championship falls within its plan to develop the national teams, raise the technical level of athletes, build international experience, and expand participation in major championships, all of which contributes to building teams capable of competing and achieving results.
The Jordanian delegation looks forward to delivering a performance befitting the level of its ambitions, competing with full strength, and achieving the best possible results, while affirming that participation itself represents an important opportunity to compete alongside the world's best athletes and gain further international experience.
