AMMAN — Saudi player
Saud Al-Sharif retained his title as champion at the 31st edition of the
Jordan Open Golf Championship for the second year in a row on Saturday.

Sharif came first in the men’s category with a total of
216 hits, followed by his compatriot Faisal Salhab in second place with 221
hits. Tunisian Elyes Barhoumi came in third place with 222 hits.
Qatar’s Nada Radwan won first place in the women’s
category with a score of 229, Jordan’s Yasmine Dhaher came in second place with
a score of 258, while Saudi player Haneen Mahmoud Anbar came in third.
In the U14 category, Jordanian players dominated the
first three places. Salem Al-Abdallat won first place with 161 strikes, Muhammad
Asad Al-Rawashdah came second with 167 strikes, and Daniel Zaher came in third
place with 176 strikes.
Bulgarian Hristo Yanakiv came first in the U19 category
with 222 hits, followed by Moroccan Kamil Bensouda in second place with 227
hits, followed by national team player Hamza Salman with 230 hits.
The
championship was held at the Ayla Oasis courses in Aqaba.
