The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the general index of industrial production quantities, noting an increase of 1.72% in industrial production quantities for the first seven months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.اضافة اعلان

On a monthly level, the general index of industrial production quantities rose by 1.23% in July 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, and by 1.96% compared to June of the same year. The base year was updated to 2018 (=100) instead of 2010 (=100).

Accordingly, the general index for the first seven months of 2025 reached 88.35 points, compared to 86.86 points for the same period in 2024.

For the month of July 2025, the index reached 91.83 points, compared to 90.72 points in July 2024, and 91.83 points compared to 90.07 in June 2025.

Comparing the cumulative index for the first seven months of 2025 with the same period in 2024, the production quantity of the “manufacturing industries” sector rose by 1.82% (with a relative importance of 88.7%), “electricity production” rose by 2.42% (5.9% relative importance), while “mining industries” fell by 1.66% (5.4% relative importance).

On a monthly change basis, the general industrial production index for July 2025 increased compared to July 2024 due to a 1.23% rise in the manufacturing sector (88.7% importance) and a 3.20% rise in the mining sector (5.4% importance), while electricity production decreased by 0.59% (5.9% importance).

Comparing July 2025 with June 2025, the manufacturing sector rose by 1.06% (88.7% importance), the mining sector increased by 0.53% (5.4% importance), and electricity production surged by 17.90% (5.9% importance).
