Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, arrived in Doha on Thursday for a “fraternal” visit to express solidarity with Qatar following the Israeli attack on the country on Tuesday.

This was reported by the Qatari News Agency on Thursday, a day after regional leaders arrived to support Qatar in the aftermath of the Israeli attack on the capital, Doha. The agency stated that Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited Doha in a “fraternal” gesture, without providing further details.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan News Agency confirmed that the Prime Minister traveled to Qatar “to express solidarity with the brotherly State of Qatar following the cowardly Israeli airstrikes on Doha.”
The Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received on Wednesday the President of the UAE, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and Jordan’s King Abdullah II. The leaders condemned the Israeli attack and affirmed their solidarity with Doha, according to statements issued by the Qatari Amiri Diwan.
