Jordan kicks off run at World Boxing Championship on Wednesday

AMMAN  — The national boxing team will begin their run on Wednesday at the World Boxing Championship, hosted in Serbian capital of Belgrade. Some 511 boxers are taking part in the tournament, representing 87 countries and competing in 13 weight categories. اضافة اعلان

On Wednesday, Odai Al-Hindawi will participate in the under 86kg weight class, while Zeyad Ishaish will compete in under 71kg weight class. 
Hindawi will face Hezron Sabat from Kenya, while Ishaish will face Roniel Iglesias from Cuba, a gold medal winner at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and gold medalist at the 2012 London Olympics.

Jordan’s national team is participating in the current World Championships with four players; Obada Al-Kasbeh, in the under 67kg weight class; Zeyad Ishaish, in the under 71kg weight class; Odai AL-Hindawi, in the under 86kg weight class; and Hussein Ishaish, in the under 92kg weight class.
