Volunteers hand out parcels, clothes

AMMAN — The Balqa Al-Khair Charitable Society recently held a volunteer day in the southern Jordan Valley area, in cooperation with the Sanabel Al-Majd Charitable Society.اضافة اعلان

Volunteers distributed parcels and clothes to 87 families registered with the societies, according to Al-Ghad News.

Alia Al-Nahar, head of the Balqa Al-Khair Charitable Association, said that the association has been working on charitable programs in less fortunate areas throughout the country.

Nahar added that the association plans to hold courses in sustainable agriculture, organic agriculture, aromatic agriculture, and industrial agriculture in unison with experts from the National Center for Agricultural Research.

The head of Sanabel Al-Majd Charitable Organization, Hussein Al-Adwan, said that this was the second such project to be implemented in the area.
