The sites lit up in red included the archaeological site of Umm Al-Jimal, several locations in Jerash, Madaba Archaeological Hill, the Church of the Apostles in Madaba, Aqaba’s archaeological church, the Citadel and Umayyad Palace in Amman, Shobak Castle, Qasr Shabeeb in Zarqa, Ajloun Castle, Aqaba Castle, and Abdoun Bridge.

The initiative is part of national and institutional efforts to support the national team during its historic first participation in the FIFA World Cup finals and to enhance the festive atmosphere across the Kingdom as fans rally behind Al-Nashama.

The choice of the color red carries special significance, as the Jordanian national team is set to wear its red kit during the match against Algeria. Organizers and Jordanian supporters have also encouraged fans to wear red as a symbol of support and solidarity with the team.

The initiative coincides with a series of national and public events being held across Jordan to back Al-Nashama, including live public screenings of the national team’s matches at the Roman Theater in Amman and various venues throughout the governorates, allowing fans to follow the games in a unifying national atmosphere.

Jordanians hope the national team will continue its impressive performances in the tournament, supported by widespread public enthusiasm that reflects national pride and unity following Al-Nashama’s historic achievement of qualifying for the FIFA World Cup finals for the first time.
