Regarding the restructuring of the electricity tariff, Kharabsheh said: "It is not about raising the prices of electricity or removing subsidies, but about a partial restructuring to direct greater support to the productive industrial, commercial, tourism, and agricultural sectors.”

He also said that a national platform will be created for people with national numbers to apply for subsidies.

"It is important for us to provide these sectors with the necessary support so that they can continue to produce goods and provide services, which will reflect positively on the growth of these sectors, and thus reflect on the GDP, in addition to contributing to providing various job opportunities and increasing the sectors’ competitiveness," he added.
