Amman – The representative of the home and office furniture and stationery sector at the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Hammam Habannaka, confirmed on Saturday that all school supplies and back-to-school items are available in full and in sufficient quantities to meet local market demand.

Habannaka noted that prices remain stable this year with no significant increases, and some items have even seen price drops due to a surplus in supply.
He urged consumers to purchase school supplies from trusted and certified stores known for the quality of their products, emphasizing the importance of guaranteed brands that allow for product exchange or return in case of manufacturing defects.
Looking ahead, Habannaka expects a rise in demand over the next ten days as employees in both the public and private sectors receive their salaries. He pointed out that this season marks the first semester and the beginning of a new academic year, which typically sees a higher level of consumer activity compared to the second semester.
