The corporation said in a press statement that the maximum net unemployment compensation benefit for the current year has also increased to 623 Jordanian dinars, compared with 612 dinars in the previous year.

It explained that this adjustment is in accordance with the provisions of the Social Security Law, which stipulates that both the maximum salary subject to contributions and the maximum net unemployment benefit must be linked to the inflation rate recorded in the Kingdom during the previous year.

According to the corporation, the inflation rate in Jordan for 2025 was 1.77 percent.

The statement also noted that the average salary of Jordanian insured workers covered by social security in 2025 reached 656 Jordanian dinars, compared with 638 dinars in 2024.
