Central Bank: Banking System Approves JOD 2.656 Billion in New Facilities Since Year-Start

According to the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) report, the total value of new credit facility applications reached approximately JOD 2.656 billion in the first two months of the year, up from JOD 2.189 billion during the same period in 2025.

Breakdown of Credit Applications:
Approved Applications: 51,100 applications were accepted, with a total value of JOD 2.469 billion.

Rejected Applications: Banks declined approximately 17,200 applications, valued at JOD 185.5 million.
