The Central Bank of Jordan, on behalf of the government, issued two tranches of treasury bonds totaling 100 million Jordanian dinars on Tuesday.

It also issued treasury bills worth an additional 100 million dinars.

According to the bank’s data, the maturity date for the treasury bonds is set for April 15, 2036, while the settlement date is April 15, 2026. The treasury bills, on the other hand, will mature on April 15, 2027.

Treasury bonds are long-term financing instruments with maturities ranging from two to twenty-two years, and include both government-issued bonds and those issued by corporations.
