Prices of petroleum derivatives rose globally during the third week of March compared to the second week of the same month, according to the weekly bulletin issued by Jordan’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to the report, the average price of gasoline (Octane 95) increased from $1,169 to $1,334 per ton, a rise of 14.1%. The average price of gasoline (Octane 90) also climbed from $1,073 to $1,214 per ton, up by 13.1%. Meanwhile, diesel prices rose from $1,271 to $1,484 per ton, marking an increase of 16.8%.
The average price of kerosene rose from $1,346 to $1,621 per ton, an increase of 20.4%, while fuel oil edged up slightly from $752 to $753 per ton, a marginal increase of 0.1%.
As for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), its average price remained stable during March at the same level recorded in February, at $541 per ton.
Additionally, the average price of Brent crude increased from $96 to $110 per barrel, representing a rise of 14.6%.
