UNICEF: 77 million children dropped out of school in last 18 months

AMMAN — On Friday, UNICEF announced that around 77 million children dropped out of schools during the past 18 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The UN’s website announced that most schools re-opened in 117 countries, indicating that 539 million students returned to schools.

The UNESCO called for the safe reopening of schools while keeping the total lockdown as a final option.
