U.S. President Donald Trump made cautious remarks regarding the Israeli attack targeting Hamas officials in Qatar.
Trump told reporters, “Qatar is a very great ally… so Israel and others need to be careful… when we attack people, we must exercise caution.”

Trump initially criticized Israel over the unprecedented strike carried out on Tuesday in Doha, where negotiators were working toward a truce in Gaza.
However, U.S. diplomats have confirmed that the attack will not affect relations with Israel.
The attack drew widespread international condemnation.
Qatari Prime Minister called on the international community to end “double standards,” urging during a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Arab-Islamic summit in Doha on Monday that Israel be held accountable for its actions.
The Israeli airstrikes resulted in the deaths of six Hamas members and one Qatari security officer.
Qatar hosts the largest U.S. base in the region and mediates the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza alongside the United States and Egypt.
