US President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday, "I think the Iran war could end very soon."
In a statement to the American channel Fox Business, Trump added, "The Iranians were going to get a nuclear weapon, and they were going to use it against us and against Israel."

He continued: "The Iranians wanted to control the Middle East, but I stopped that. They are now desperate to make a deal."
Trump noted that while the war between the United States and Iran is "very close to its end," the process is not yet finished, adding, "We’ll see what happens."

Message to China: "I demanded in a letter to the Chinese President that he stop supporting Iran militarily and sending weapons."
Naval Blockade: He described the naval blockade imposed on Iran as "absolutely incredible," adding that Iran's reaction to it stems from their realization that "we have totally crushed them."

Strait of Hormuz: Trump confirmed that "the Strait of Hormuz is being opened," but issued a warning regarding international relations: "Our relationship will not be the same as before with any country that refused to provide us with assistance when we asked for help."
The President concluded by stating that "what really matters regarding Iran is the final result, and we are making excellent progress," noting that Iran has received "very painful and harsh blows."
