U.S. Embassy to Close from Today Until Next Sunday

The U.S. Embassy in Amman announced that it will be closed during official working hours starting today, Wednesday, until next Sunday, and will resume normal operations on Monday.اضافة اعلان

In a statement, the embassy clarified that emergency assistance services for U.S. citizens in Jordan will remain available outside official working hours by calling +962 6 590-6500.

The embassy noted that its premises are located in the Um Uthaynah area, No. 37, in the capital Amman. It added that the emergency number during official working hours is +962 6 590-6000, while +962 6 590-6500 has been designated for emergencies outside working hours.
