Temporary Traffic Diversions on Amman–Salt Road from Thursday Evening Until Friday Morning

The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced the implementation of temporary and partial traffic diversions on the Amman–Salt Road, opposite the Palace of Justice in Al-Balqa Governorate. The diversions are part of excavation and concrete foundation works in the central median.اضافة اعلان
The Ministry explained that the works will require a partial closure of traffic in both directions, in addition to the closure of the Al-Dabbabneh Tunnel, with traffic to be diverted over the tunnel during the night hours. The closure will begin at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, and will continue until Friday morning, November 14, 2025, depending on site conditions.
The Ministry confirmed that, in coordination with the Traffic Department, all temporary diversions will be equipped with necessary safety measures to ensure smooth traffic flow during the works.
It also urged road users to follow the instructions of field staff and public security officers, and to adhere to safe driving practices for their own safety and the safety of the workers on-site.
