Georgieva, Switzerland’s ambassador to Jordan, the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts (RACA) held its 13th graduation ceremony on Saturday at the King Hussein
Business Park Auditorium, a press statement said.
The ceremony saw the graduation of 118 new chefs.
Chairman of RACA’s Board of Trustees Wajih Oweis was
present during the event alongside the Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa General
Manager Bill Dewell, and graduates’ family members and RACA’s management,
faculty, and employees.
Oweis addressed attendees and congratulated
graduates on their achievements, and encouraged them to start their careers in
the culinary industry and to become active youth in the development of the hospitality
sector in Jordan.
The Royal
Academy of Culinary Arts is a Technical University College, established in 2008
following the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah to raise the level of
education in the tourism and hospitality sector, and reorient young men and
women toward education related to the technical market.
RACA is a Certified Member of the Network of EHL-certified
Schools and offers a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Beverage
Management and a two-year Diploma in Culinary Arts.
