AMMAN — The Higher Population Council (HPC) Monday launched a national plan to implement Jordan’s commitments to the 2019 Nairobi Summit and the International Conference on Population and Development under the slogan “Accelerating the Promise – for the years 2021–2030” with the support of the UN Population Fund, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

HPC’s Secretary General Issa Al-Masarwe said that the national plan, based on statistics from the relevant institutions, addresses the reproductive and sexual health challenges that the Jordanian society faces, and the 12 commitments the Kingdom undertook following the Nairobi summit.

The plan, he noted, highlights the population in Jordan and the demographic, social, and economic conditions, with a specific focus on reproductive and sexual health issues.
