The visit to the airport included Dr. Mohammad Al-Sarraireh, the newly appointed airport director, and several operational officials, and aimed to review current service procedures, ongoing development projects, and the airport’s strategic future plans. King Hussein International Airport serves as a central hub for expanding logistics and tourism services in the region.
Dr. Abu Omar was accompanied by the Assistant Commissioner for Economic Affairs and Investment Ahmad Al-Khitab, Director of Investment Saber Al-Iwa, Director of Transport Abdullah Al-Rifaiyeh, and Director of Investment Promotion Engineer Mohammad Al-Hasanat. He congratulated Dr. Al-Sarraireh on his appointment, praising his expertise and capability to elevate operational services and enhance the airport’s role as a vital gateway supporting economic and tourism growth.
Dr. Al-Sarraireh provided a briefing on the latest development projects, including improving operational procedures, strengthening safety and security systems, and upgrading passenger facilities to meet international standards.
