Police thwart smuggling attempt

AMMAN —  The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) on Thursday seized 900,000 illegal pills hidden inside a vehicle at one of the borders.

A Public Security Directorate spokesperson said that AND personnel stopped and searched a vehicle at the border and detained its driver, an Arab national, in relation to the case, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.    اضافة اعلان
