The Cabinet session also saw the approval of several new bylaws, which are detailed below, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Bylaw approvalsThe Council of Ministers approved the mandating reasons for amendments to the Specialized Tourist Transport Licensing Bylaw for 2023, which has been sent to the Legislation and Opinion Bureau for the issuance of procedures.

The new regulation is aimed at keeping pace with the high volume of reservations for domestic and foreign tourist groups, compared to previous years.

The bylaw was introduced because tourist companies did not benefit from a previous Cabinet decision that gave a deadline for them to rectify their situation due to COVID-19 pandemic repercussions.

The Cabinet also approved the validating reasons for an amended bylaw for administrative costs for services provided by the Department of Lands and Surveys (DLS) for 2023, following the endorsement of the new Land Registration Fees Law No. (7) of 2023.

The bylaw details fees collected by the DLS for land transactions and aim to avoid duplication or irregularity in collecting the due fees.

The Cabinet approved the mandating reasons for an amended Customs Bylaw of Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) for 2023.

The new regulation aims to align with the recent law-based amendments and enable the Jordan Customs Department to practice and regulate customs procedures within the ASEZA borders.

The Cabinet approved the validating reasons for the administrative organization bylaw of the Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC) for 2023.

The new bylaw aligns with the Public Sector Modernization Map, which aims to strengthen the principle of the ACC's financial independence, control spending, and stimulate growth in the Kingdom's agricultural sector.

National Strategy for CultureThe Council of Ministers approved the National Strategy for Culture for 2023–2027 and entrusted the Ministry of Culture with developing its executive action plan.

The plan will include performance indicators, a timeframe, and the estimated financial costs of implementing the strategy's goals.

The Cabinet approved the decision of the Board of Directors of the National Resources Investment & Development Corporation, which allows for cash discounts on prices for the corporation's land plots intended for sale.

The Cabinet also decided to appoint Mona Mufti and Radhi Hammadin as members of the Board of Commissioners of the Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) and terminate the membership of Ra'eda Naber and Abdul Raouf Rababa.

Additionally, the Cabinet named Adel Sharaf El-Din Bino as Vice-Chairman of JSC's Board of Commissioners.
