His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday chairs a new round of the “Aqaba Meetings” initiative, hosted by the United Kingdom.
The Aqaba Meetings, launched by His Majesty in 2015, aim to enhance security and military coordination and cooperation, as well as the exchange of expertise and intelligence among various regional and international partners to combat terrorism through a comprehensive approach.
His Majesty is visiting London accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
On Monday, His Majesty and the Crown Prince met with British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in London.
During the visit, His Majesty also discussed with the UK Chief of the Defence Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, ways to strengthen the Jordan–UK partnership in the defense sector.
