The Water Authority / Ministry of Water and Irrigation, in cooperation with relevant authorities, seized an illegal excavator inside a farm in northern Azraq. Specialized technical teams confiscated the equipment and held it at the Central Workshops Directorate, while investigations continue and the matter is being referred to the judicial authorities.

According to the Ministry’s statement on Tuesday, violations were also detected on the Al-Bitar well water line in the Ayl area of Ma’an Governorate, in coordination with the Ayl Security Center. The violations were removed, water supply of 50 cubic meters per hour was restored, and the confiscated items were documented, with investigations still ongoing.
The Water Authority expressed its appreciation for the significant efforts of the security personnel at the Public Security Directorate, particularly the Central Badia Police Directorate, Azraq Security Center, preventive security and criminal investigation personnel, as well as the Ayl Security Center staff in Ma’an, and all Public Security officers for their continuous efforts.
The Authority confirmed that its campaign to monitor and remove any violations is ongoing.
