AMMAN— The north of the Kingdom has recently been affected by some earthquakes that did not cause human or materialistic losses, according to Alghad.

Swaidan also stressed that there has been no scientific evidence of a deadly earthquake in Jordan in the past century and that the observatory conducts studies about frequent earthquakes affecting a certain area to determine the reasons behind them.
