Earthquake that hit Lake Tiberias was felt in northern Jordan

AMMAN — The director of the Seismological Observatory, Ghassan Swaidan, confirmed Sunday that the observatory had detected 10 aftershocks off Lake Tiberias, the last of which was on Sunday morning. The aftershocks followed an initial earthquake that hit the same area at 11:36 pm Saturday and registered 4.6 on the Richter scale.اضافة اعلان

Speaking to Ammon News, he said the aftershocks took place at different times while their strength ranged from 2.0 to 2.9 on the Richter scale, indicating that the last aftershock was at 6:02 Jordan time with a magnitude of 2.2.
