He emphasized that the municipality is continuously working on preparing and rehabilitating all measures that ensure road safety even before the new traffic law.

All to alleviate traffic
He added that they aim to strengthen and increase speed monitoring cameras, not only for the purpose of issuing violations but also to enhance road safety and provide statistical information for traffic studies and understanding road conditions to help citizens determine which routes to take.

He noted that all of these measures aim to alleviate traffic congestion challenges and evaluate technical solutions such as cameras and others to improve traffic monitoring and respond to conditions to enhance transportation.

The new traffic law, which goes into effect on the twelfth of the current month, imposes stricter penalties for several violations that pose a danger to road users, including increased fines and imprisonment penalties for violations.
