The returning group included 26 children accompanied by 54 family members. During their stay in Jordan, they received the necessary medical care in accordance with the highest recognized standards after being medically evacuated to the Kingdom by the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO).

The children’s families expressed their gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordan Armed Forces for their humanitarian and medical efforts in supporting the people of Gaza. They also praised the high standard of healthcare and medical services their children received during their treatment in Jordanian hospitals.

Hundreds of children from Gaza continue to receive treatment in Jordan as part of the medical evacuation program, which began in March 2025.

Since launching the initiative, Jordan has maintained that patients and their accompanying family members would return to Gaza after completing their treatment, allowing new groups of patients to be evacuated for care in Jordanian hospitals. The initiative reflects Jordan’s longstanding commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and helping them remain on their land.
