The meteorological department also warned that flooding may occur in valleys and low areas during the day in the southern, eastern, and central parts of Jordan, with risks of low visibility due to fog and cloud formation and slippery road surfaces due to rainfall.

Temperatures in eastern Amman will hit a high of 12°C, dropping to a low of 8°C, while western Amman temperatures will range between 10°C and 6°C. Near the Dead Sea, temperatures are predicted to range between a fair 22°C and 13°C, and temperatures in the port city of Aqaba will hover around 22°C during the day, reaching a low of 12°C at night.

For Saturday, relatively cold temperatures and partly cloudy to cloudy skies are predicted, with light rainfall in different parts of the Kingdom, especially to the west.

On Sunday, Jordan will be affected by an air depression centered over Cyprus, and temperatures will be cold with partly cloudy to cloudy skies, especially in the Kingdom’s northern and central regions.
