King Abdullah II and Queen Rania returned to Jordan on Wednesday after attending the state funeral of Norway's King Harald V in Oslo.
The service was held at Oslo Cathedral for Harald, who died on August 28 at the age of 89 after 35 years on the throne. He was succeeded by his son, King Haakon VIII. Heads of state and royal representatives from around the world attended.

The King travelled on Tuesday, accompanied by the Queen. Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was sworn in as Regent before the Cabinet to deputise during the absence, a role that ends with the King's return.
