The Kingdom is expected to be impacted by this weather system on Monday.

The center of the Khamsin depression is projected to be positioned north of Egypt by Monday afternoon. Consequently, temperatures will experience a notable increase, surpassing average levels by 3°C to 5°C. Khamsin weather conditions will dominate across the Kingdom, resulting in relatively hot, dry, and dusty weather prevailing in most areas.

Moreover, areas such as the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience even higher temperatures, with the mercury approaching 40°C. Intermittent high and medium-level clouds are also anticipated.

Noticeable rise in temperatures
The impact of the Khamsin depression will manifest in a marked increase in temperatures across the country. Residents can anticipate a rise of up to 5°C above the average, resulting in a relatively hotter day.

Throughout the day, the prevailing winds from the southwest will gradually intensify. Occasional strong gusts are expected, which may generate dust storms, particularly in the Badia regions.

Moreover, the eastern and southern parts of the Kingdom may encounter sandstorms, leading to significantly reduced visibility and potentially zero horizontal visibility. Individuals in these areas should exercise caution and consider necessary safety precautions.

As the night hours approach, the Khamsin weather conditions will persist, accompanied by moderate temperatures, dry conditions, and dusty weather in various areas.

Cooler temperatures will arrive in the late-night hours with the arrival of northwest winds. These winds will cause a drop in temperatures, creating a more pleasant atmosphere across most areas.
