The Director of Ajloun Water, Malik Al-Rashdan, announced on Wednesday that the Kafr Nja Dam conveyance project is expected to be completed at the beginning of next year. The project will supply 350 cubic meters per hour, serving areas in Anjara, Ain Janna, and parts of the Qasbah.اضافة اعلان

Al-Rashdan told Al-Mamlaka that currently, these areas receive 600 cubic meters per hour. Once the Kafranja Dam project is completed, the supply will increase to 950 cubic meters per hour, reducing the water rotation cycle to 14 days.

He added that the Water Directorate has launched the “Al-Ayun” tender valued at JD 1.4 million to construct pipelines for the Tannour/Ba’un/Ishtefina station and back, aiming to improve the network, reduce losses, and enhance water supply.

Al-Rashdan also noted that the directorate issued 10 tenders worth JD 1.1 million this year from the governorate council’s allocations, covering maintenance and extension of water and sewage networks. The directorate received JD 1.1 million from these allocations to implement 10 projects, including maintenance of existing water and sewage networks and extending water networks to new areas not yet covered.
