Abu Mosa expressed satisfaction with the win, said that she was proud to be a Jordanian, and praised Jordanian women who are successful in various fields.

Abu Mosa completed her undergraduate education in Jordan and went to the UK 12 years ago to work in education and translation; she completed her postgraduate studies in London, after which she settled in Crawley, joined the Labor Party because she was convinced of its principles and the ideas it espouses, and due to her determination and tireless social work and assistance to the members of her community, the party nominated her to sit for elections, which she won.
