AMMAN — Neurologist at the
University of Science and Technology, Dr Ahmed Yassin, won the
American Academy of Neurology’s
International Award, among 35 doctors from 20 countries around the world, according
to Al-Ghad News.

Yassin said that the award is given based on a
doctor's distinguished achievements in the clinical, academic, and scientific
fields that contribute to the advancement of neurology.
The award enables the winner to enjoy a grant to
attend the academy's annual conference in Seattle, Washington, in the US next
April.
Yassin praised the efforts of staff at the University
of Science and Technology and
King Abdullah the Founder Hospital in support of innovators,
and which embodies Jordan's vision towards researchers and the advancement of
the health care system as well as the provision of high level medical services.
