The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army evacuated the 33rd group of sick children from the Gaza Strip on Monday under the Jordanian Medical Corridor initiative, in implementation of Royal directives.
The latest group includes 51 sick children accompanied by 53 family members. They were transported to Jordan to receive treatment and medical care at several Jordanian hospitals as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian and medical efforts to support Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The evacuations, which began in March 2025, are being carried out in cooperation and coordination between the Jordan Armed Forces, the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, in accordance with approved health procedures and standards to ensure the necessary medical care for the children.
The initiative reflects Jordan’s humanitarian and medical role in supporting Palestinians and alleviating their suffering amid the difficult humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, while providing healthcare to those most in need.
Through the continuation of these efforts, Jordan reaffirms its commitment to supporting Palestinians and strengthening humanitarian and medical assistance under the leadership of King Abdullah II, contributing to alleviating the suffering of patients and wounded people and providing them with treatment and care.
