The growth in national exports was driven by increased shipments to Syria and Iraq, non-Arab Asian countries including China, and European Union countries, particularly the Netherlands.

The main international markets recording higher imports to Jordan were Arab Free Trade Area countries, including Saudi Arabia.

In July 2026 alone, total exports amounted to JD926 million, including JD813 million in national exports and JD113 million in re-exports. Imports reached JD1.746 billion, resulting in a trade deficit of JD820 million during the month.
