Jordan records 8 new COVID deaths, 1,075 new cases

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 1,075 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, in addition to 8 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,624 and the caseload to 814,676.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 473 cases, while Zarqa recorded 110 cases.

Irbid registered 130 cases, while Balqa recorded 83 cases.
Karak recorded 36, Jerash recorded 34 cases, and Tafileh recorded 40.
Madaba registered 15 cases, Aqaba 27, and Ajloun 38.
Mafraq registered 28 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 71 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 69 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,327 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.51 percent of the 30597 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
