Jordan records 10 new COVID deaths, 920 new cases

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 920 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, in addition to 10 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,616 and the caseload to 813,601.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 399 cases, while Zarqa recorded 72 cases.

Irbid registered 121 cases, while Balqa recorded 32 cases.

Karak recorded 37, Jerash recorded 56 cases, and Tafileh recorded 48.

Madaba registered 8 cases, Aqaba 48, and Ajloun 36.

Mafraq registered 25 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 47 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 52 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,313 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.39 percent of the 27,178 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
