Jordan records 479 new COVID-19 cases today

AMMAN — The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded today reached 9, according to the Ministry of Health, while a total of 479 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Thursday, bringing the death toll to 9,570 and the caseload to 742,178.اضافة اعلان

The ministry added in a statement that some 47 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 64 others were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 8,139, according to the ministry’s statement.

Around 2.21 percent of the 21,629 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
