The Ministry of Health will receive 785 million Jordanian dinars in the 2026 general budget, according to Finance Minister Abdul Hakim Shibli on Tuesday.اضافة اعلان

Of this total, 135 million dinars are allocated for the purchase of medicines and medical supplies, reflecting the government’s continued focus on improving healthcare services.

The budget also includes 71 million dinars for capital projects, such as the equipping of Princess Basma Hospital in Irbid, Tafila Hospital, expansion of Al-Iman Hospital in Ajloun, upgrading and expanding hospitals and health centers across various governorates, establishing a medical simulation center, and developing the drug inventory system.

Additionally, 124 million dinars have been earmarked for cancer treatment.
