His Majesty King Abdullah II departed the Kingdom on Monday, heading to the Arab Republic of Egypt to lead the Jordanian delegation participating in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit.

The summit, co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump, brings together a number of world leaders as part of ongoing efforts to end the war on Gaza and to promote peace, stability, and security in the region.
The Jordanian delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, and King’s Office Director Engineer Alaa Batayneh.
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein took the constitutional oath as Regent in the presence of the Cabinet.
