Jordan continues its humanitarian efforts to support the Lebanese people, as the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization on Thursday dispatched a new humanitarian aid convoy in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army and the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
The convoy, the eighth in a series of aid missions sent to Lebanon, consists of 19 trucks carrying relief supplies and essential humanitarian items, in addition to a shipment of medicines designated to support Lebanon’s healthcare sector and hospitals. The operation was coordinated with relevant authorities and the Civil-Military Coordination Center.
The convoy was prepared in coordination with the Lebanese High Relief Commission and based on assessed needs and field conditions in Lebanon, ensuring that assistance reaches the most vulnerable sectors and communities in line with humanitarian response priorities on the ground.
Jordan’s ongoing aid convoys aim to support the sectors most in need and help alleviate the impact of difficult humanitarian conditions in Lebanon. They are part of Jordan’s long-standing humanitarian role in standing by neighboring countries during times of crisis.
These assistance efforts reflect Jordan’s established approach to providing relief and support to affected populations through effective partnerships that ensure aid reaches beneficiaries efficiently and in an organized manner.
The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization also expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the Syrian authorities for their significant efforts in facilitating the passage of humanitarian convoys to Lebanon.
The organization reaffirmed its commitment to coordinating humanitarian and relief efforts with local and international partners to strengthen the resilience of affected communities and support vital sectors, particularly healthcare and livelihood security.
