In a statement issued on Thursday, the JHCO announced that the convoy consists of 25 trucks laden with medicines, infant formula, and food supplies. The deployment of this convoy comes as a continuation of Jordan's humanitarian efforts to support fraternal nations and mitigate the impacts of challenging humanitarian conditions.
The convoy carries essential medical and food aid aimed at supporting the healthcare sector, strengthening food security, and meeting the needs of children and the most affected families, thereby helping to alleviate mounting humanitarian burdens.
The Secretary-General of the JHCO, Hussein Al-Shibli, emphasized that the continuous dispatch of relief convoys to Lebanon reflects Jordan's steadfast commitment to its humanitarian mission.
Al-Shibli stated that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership and with its people, will remain standing alongside its brothers in all circumstances. He noted that these convoys represent an extension of an ongoing humanitarian role built on rapid response and organized institutional operations, ensuring that aid reaches the areas and families in greatest need.
He added that the Organization continues to work with its partners and relevant authorities to reinforce the humanitarian response and expand the scope of relief interventions in alignment with field requirements and humanitarian priorities.
Furthermore, the JHCO expressed its appreciation for the efforts and facilities provided by the Syrian authorities, which contributed to facilitating the transit of the humanitarian convoys into Lebanon.
The JHCO continues to implement its relief and humanitarian programs in several countries through an integrated logistics system that ensures the reception, preparation, and dispatch of aid according to the highest standards of efficiency and organization.
