Irbid public parks open to public as of Wednesday

IRBID — The Greater Irbid Municipality (GIM) announced on Saturday that it will re-open all public parks in the northern governorate, 81km from Amman, as of Wednesday, June 16.اضافة اعلان

Opening hours will extend from 8am to 10pm, a statement by the municipality said.

GIM’s spokesperson, Raddad Al-Tal, stated that the municipality will implement the mandatory protocols on the entry into the parks, hence, “no person is allowed to enter unless they are wearing masks, and keeping the safe distance.”

Large gatherings inside parks will be banned, including parties and bazaars of all kinds, while strictly preventing the serving of hookahs in the recreational areas.

Al-Tal indicated that the municipality has formed special teams to monitor the compliance of parks’ visitors, and in the event of violations, the relevant authorities will be immediately notified to take legal action against perpetrators.
