The Attorney General of the State Security Court, Brigadier General Military Judge Ahmad Talat Shahaltogh, has ratified the indictment issued by the State Security Court Prosecutor. This follows the completion of all legal proceedings by the Public Prosecution regarding the investigation into the martyrdom of three Anti-Narcotics Department personnel on March 18, 2026.

The State Security Court Attorney General has decided to charge the defendant with the following counts:
Felony: Physical assault on officers tasked with enforcing the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law resulting in death (repeated three times), in violation of Article (12/1, C, D) of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 23 of 2016 and its amendments.
Felony: Resisting officials tasked with enforcing the Narcotics Law using a firearm, in violation of Article (12/C) of the same law.
Felony: Physical assault on officers tasked with enforcing the Narcotics Law resulting in a permanent disability or disfigurement, in violation of Article (12/1, B/1, 2).
Felony: Possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of trafficking, in violation of Article (19/1/A).
Felony: Selling narcotic substances for the purpose of trafficking, in violation of Article (19/1/A).
Felony: Possession of a firearm for the purpose of unlawful use, in violation of Articles (3/F) and (7/C) of the Prevention of Terrorism Law No. 55 of 2006 and its amendments.
Misdemeanor: Possession of preparations for the purpose of consumption (repeated counts for various substances/preparations), in violation of several provisions of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law.
All legal measures will be taken to serve the indictment in accordance with due process, and the case will be referred to the State Security Court—the competent authority—for trial.
