Al-Hawari: Majority of MPs Reject Retirement Calculation Based on "Social Security Average"; Three Experts Consulted

The Head of the Parliamentary Labor Committee, MP Andre Hawari, stated on Monday that the retirement calculation proposed in the amended Social Security Law draft is rejected by the majority of House members.اضافة اعلان

During a press conference held with Speaker Mazen Al-Qadi, Hawari added that the Labor Committee, which is currently discussing the draft recently submitted by the government, has decided to seek the expertise of three external specialists: Musa Al-Subaihi, Saleh Mohammad Khalil, and Idris Khammash.

He further noted that a platform has been launched to gather public feedback on the draft, alongside hearing the perspectives of unions, experts, and citizens.
