Abu Ali expressed gratitude to all income and sales taxpayers who submitted their tax returns on time, by legal deadlines, commending their commitment and prompt financial obligations without any delays.

He urged company owners, managers, and individuals subject to the national electronic invoicing system to ensure that their financial managers, accountants, or authorized representatives register their entities and activities in the electronic national invoicing system. They should issue invoices through the system or electronically link to the national electronic invoicing system. For those who have not yet registered, he emphasized the need for them to promptly register in the system to align their status with the requirements of the electronic national invoicing system, avoiding legal consequences and financial penalties.

ISTD highlighted that the submission of tax returns and registration in the electronic national invoicing system is done electronically through the department's website www.istd.gov.jo. The department updated the income tax return forms for the fiscal year 2023 and made them available on its website and the government's electronic services platform for all categories of taxpayers, including individuals, companies, and development zones. Taxpayers can access these forms by visiting www.istd.gov.jo and selecting the electronic services icon.

ISTD has also urged taxpayers to comply with the payment of the declared amounts in these returns using the available electronic payment methods. Furthermore, they were also advised to submit their returns as soon as possible and not to delay until the end of the legal period.
