Speaking at a press conference following the Cabinet meeting held in Balqa Governorate, Al-Momani announced a royal directive to increase the university scholarship quota for the children of teachers from 5% to 10%—doubling the previous allocation—as a gesture of appreciation for the role and value of educators.
He also noted that the government has begun procedures to allocate 1,039 land plots for teacher housing, with discounts of up to 50% compared to market value. Additionally, by the end of this month, all pending advance payments requested by teachers will be disbursed.
