Medical sources announced on Thursday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 70,669 martyrs, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation’s aggression on October 7, 2023.

The same sources said that the number of injuries has increased to 171,165 since the beginning of the aggression, while a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble, with ambulance and rescue teams unable to reach them.
They added that over the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received one martyr and 13 injured persons. Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, the toll has reached 395 martyrs and 1,088 injured, and 634 bodies have been recovered.
In a related development, medical sources announced that the number of deaths recorded in hospitals as a result of the low-pressure system and severe cold in the Gaza Strip has risen to 13.
